Dhampur's First Surgical Centre. Since 1998.

Dr. Manoj and Dr. Kusum Singh built Jeevan Jyoti Hospital from the ground up — as Dhampur's first surgical centre, trained at BHU, committed to specialist-quality care, close to home for families across Bijnor district.

28 years later, their son Dr. Vibhu — MS Orthopaedics — and daughter-in-law Dr. Niharika — MS OBG — have now joined. The same hospital. The same family. Growing for the same community.

Real patients. Real names. Real places.

I recently underwent a hernia operation at this hospital, and I’m truly satisfied with the care I received. The doctor (Manoj Sir) was extremely calm, professional, and handled the procedure wonderfully. The entire process was smooth and reassuring.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome during OPD hours. For planned consultations and surgeries, booking in advance ensures you see the right doctor. Call or WhatsApp to book.
What should I bring on my first visit?
Previous reports, X-rays, prescriptions related to your condition. If you have an Ayushman card, ECHS card, or insurance document, bring that too. Aadhaar card.
Is cashless treatment available?
We are currently in the process of empanelment under Ayushman Bharat and major TPA networks. Call to check current status for your specific insurer.
Do you have emergency services?
Yes. Emergency is operational 24 hours. For trauma, fractures, or surgical emergencies, come directly or call ahead so we are ready.
Can I get X-ray and blood tests done here?
Yes. In-house Digital DR X-Ray and Pathology Lab. Most routine tests done on the same day as consultation.
Will I need to go to a higher centre for my surgery?
Most orthopaedic, general surgical, and obstetric procedures can be handled here — including complex and revision surgery. If a case needs equipment or facilities only a bigger hospital has, we'll tell you clearly and guide your referral ourselves.
What types of orthopaedic surgeries are done here?
Knee and hip replacement — including revision and complex cases — hemiarthroplasty, C-arm guided fracture and trauma surgery, arthroscopy of the knee, hip and shoulder joints, spine surgery, and bone infection treatment.
Do you handle high-risk pregnancies?
Yes. Dr. Niharika Singh (MS OBG, F.O.G.U., F.M.A.S.) handles high-risk pregnancies, operative deliveries, and women's health. NICU coming soon.
Is there a pharmacy on the premises?
Yes. In-house pharmacy stocks most medicines prescribed by our doctors. No need to go elsewhere after consultation.
How do I book with a specific doctor?
Use the WhatsApp booking link on each doctor's page. You will be asked a few quick questions so we can ensure you meet the right specialist.
Can I get an ultrasound done during my pregnancy visit?
Not yet. In-house ultrasound (USG) is not available at the moment — we have applied to the government authorities for clearance and expect to offer it soon. Dr. Niharika holds a Fellowship in Obstetric & Gynaecological Ultrasound (F.O.G.U.), so once approval comes through your scans will be done here by her.
Is gallbladder or hernia surgery done by laparoscopy (key-hole) here?
Yes. Both Dr. Niharika and Dr. Nitin hold Fellowships in Minimal Access Surgery (F.M.A.S.), so most gallbladder, hernia, and related procedures can be done laparoscopically — smaller incisions, less pain, faster recovery.
